I am getting used to this college thing. I think I can live with it. Peace.

The lecture today was by a woman by the name of Kate who told us about her sculptural background. It was interesting how she talked about her 3D expertise in a manner of time. Everything does not stay the same forever. Materials that you use can change over time so it is important that you consider how you make art. You do not want a sculpture that will decay or die after one week. Something that will last is what needs to be thought of.

Ok ok the lecture today was decent. Phil came in and brushed upon ideas other speakers have visited. He talked about the new era of art that involves technology. What really interested me was how he mentioned "de-skilling" people at the end of the lecture. Some artists need to relearn how to do stuff because of new technology. I thought that was a great point. Well put Phil.
Well we lost our first flag football game today. No one on the team had a clue how to play and got penalized for nearly everything. We'll get them next week, its all good. 1

So today there was a lecture by Scott Rigby who talked about basekamp. It is an organization that sets up artistic potlucks were people discuss art through skype and such. I wasn't very interested in it. He used Twitter to answer questions, but I am not a fan of twitter so that didn't help his cause. It sounds like he has a good thing going. So I wish him the best of luck.
Art gives too much homework. Enough said. Bye.

The lecture today was interesting. It was a good insight to how artists get recognition for there work. Using the internet is a new way to get your work out into the public. Someday, I may be using those tools I learned today.
Funny story.
So I went to this club Sunday night but did not like it at all. So me and my buddy decided to walk back to campus. We got lost. However, I was able to see wonderful City Hall and many other locations. I did not have my camera. It took us 1 hour and 15 minutes to get back to Temple.
So today I went around the school and took pictures. I noticed things I had not noticed before and it was fun.

So I have now completed 3 days of college classes, with tomorrow being my last day of the week (nothing Friday.. YESS!)
It hit hard. I was honestly not expecting so much homework, but it has piled on quickly. Luckily, this is a holiday weekend so I have time to finish my 500 drawings, sketch books, watching movies, and blogging.
Also, i have realized how incredibly far away my dorm is (The Edge). The 10 minute walk is nice though.. until winter comes.
That is all for now.
