Our final lecture was done by Sarah Zwerling and she finished the series off with a bang. She spoke about many of her previous works that included sugar as a way of making art and video installations, but I would like to focus on her final piece in the airport. I really liked her take of making the windows remind people of home. She made the roof tops and trees of her neighborhood appear for all to see as they walk along the hall. She spent a lot of time cutting out the negative space in the trees and it paid off. The installation looks marvelous.
